Sunseeker – La Comida

This Mexican cantina with a pink neon monkey skeleton sign and an open kitchen is the latest concept from restaurateur Michael Morton, The 3,000-square-foot restaurant on Sixth and Fremont Streets is in a space that formerly housed El Cortez laundry facility. La Comida serves pozole, Mayan shrimp, enchiladas and a Mexican burger, among other traditional Mexican fare. One not-to-miss is the Pollo al Horno, made with chicken, Mexican squash and achiote sauce. The drink menu features fresh fruit margaritas in Mason jars.
